What is Yasugibushi?

The folk song “Yasugibushi”.

The city of Yasugi has long prospered as a port for exporting iron and rice. During the Genroku era, boatmen actively exchanged folk songs from all over the country. It is said that this is how the original form of Yasugibushi was created.
By the end of the Edo period, it had changed and grown into “Yasugibushi"

Iinashigawa River Estuary

It's like the Salar de Uyuni!

The mouth of the Iinashi River, which flows into the Nakaumi Sea,
looks like a mirror when you go there on a clear, windless day.

The view of the sky and the Shimane Peninsula reflected in the water is like the Salar de Uyuni salt flats in South America, and it has become a popular spot in recent years for taking photos that “look good”.
